While it's fun to have brag books on the shelf accruing dust, it's much more rewarding to pass them along to a friends as a "good read."

Now, take a minute to imagine eBay-meets-myspace and there you have it...Bookmooch! This innovative company has taken our oversaturated social internet and created a site that takes us back to what's real...reading is fundamental.

Thanks to Bookmooch, it's simple to trade in old words for new ones. Join as you would any social network and start exchanging books at your passion's will.

I just recently started using BookMooch, and I've already sent 3 books I had duplicates of, and received 2 books. They use a point system, and you only pay for shipping your book. It's exciting to receive books in the mail, and it's a cheap way to do it. I've gotten some hard-to-find books this way, that I hadn't seen in any local bookstores.

Bookmooch is great book trading community that rewards the reader for listing books and leaving feedback. When a book is listed a email is sent to everyone wishlisting the book and the first to reply gets it. It beats being on a waiting list for several months. Another great option for this site is to share books internationally. The trader willing to trade internationally receives extra points for the trades. For those unwilling to ship internationally, there is also a program that enables traders to still receive those books by using an Angel. An Angel will request the book from the person in there country and upon receipt of the item, they will ship it to the international trader. This is a growing community and the site is continuously being upgraded.
