ChicoBag are the best reusable shopping bag I have found yet. When contained in their integrated stuff sack, they fit in your pocket or purse. When unfolded they are the size of a plastic bag and can hold up to 20 pounds. They are also great for traveling or unexpected shopping trips. Through convenience they are helping stop the use of plastic shopping bags. (via Andy Keller)

These bags fold up really small but can hold a surprising amount of stuff (up to a load of laundry if you're good at squishing stuff). The bags themselves are sturdy and machine-washable so they can literally be used to carry anything (from food to clothes to random items). They're also cheap and affordable and totally worth the look on people's faces when you bust out a bag from a wallet-sized lump.

I love this bag because I've had tons of other bags and I always forget them. This one clips to my keyring, so I never leave it in the car or at home. It's lightweight, comes in a slew of colors, and I love that it compresses into a teensy pouch.

I've given these as gifts and they make great stocking stuffers, not to mention wrapping the gifts in the bags themselves. That's my new thing this holiday season. I'm not doing disposable wrap, but am using these bags instead.

Oh yeah, and the company really seems to care deeply about the environment. They do all kinds of events, giveaways for charities, etc. I like giving my money to a company that supports all the things that matter to me. (via Jean)
