Transglass Recycled Vase

A recommendation by inhabitat

inhabitat's recommendation

TranSglass is one of our favorite recycled-design projects of all time. Contradicting the old notion that recycling in design equals handicrafts made from buttons and popsickle sticks - the TranSglass project proves once and for all that the efficient reuse of waste materials can go hand in hand with haute design. Purchase these vases fashioned out of recycled beer and wine bottles for a unique wedding gift. The designers describe it best, “Transglass is a glassware collection with a contemporary beauty that shows a positive attitude toward the environment."

They are recycled wine bottles turned into fancy vases. My most favorite part, they are green and feel smooth and give a sense of being fresh.
