Description
Well, if you are looking for a cute and different type of lip gloss Benefit has created this one for you! This blue-pigmented gloss was created with the notion that pigments with blue in them make the teeth look whiter (especially in photos).
I have to say, it gives not only a great shine and pleasant minty flavor (when you inhale it also brings in the minty fragrance to your mouth -- a quick refreshment and great when you don’t have a mint around!). The texture of the gloss is fairly light and not sticky. The shine factor is medium/high, so it can be used during for day as well layered for night time looks.
The color did make my teeth appear whiter (they are fairly white on their own but everyone wants whiter!) and I applied it both over brownish-caramel and brownish-pink-toned lip sticks, as well as alone on my lips and it looked nice. Note that if you wear it on bare lips alone you will see a slight blueish tint on your lips, but it actually looked very nice against my brown skin tone. This will look great on all complexions however, and since it comes in a small tube, it’s easy enough to throw in any bag or keep at the gym. (via sephora)
