Many people need to purchase a treadmill that folds up and away because they are short on space. For example my in-laws, have a small amount of living space so they need a folding treadmill. However, due to their age and limits on their physical strength, a folding treadmill is too hard to open and close. Even those with shock assist is still too hard.
Now with the Smooth 7.1 treadmill with power folding, they can push 1 button and the treadmill folds up. No more yanking or tugging.
This treadmill also has many unique features and has been rated a "Best Value" by treadmill reviews and with it's lifetime motor and frame warranty, commercial deck and rollers and 280 pound weight you know that it's solidly built. But for those with disabiliates or limited strength, I think that the power folding is a super feature and that is why I focused on that feature as I think that it is wonderful and will give many more the opportunity to use a treadmill when they otherwise would not be able.
