Out of all the adult music I've thrown her way--from Monk to Mozart to Moonshake--my baby has only really responded to Nick Drake. We listened to a lot of Nick Drake last winter, in the lead-up to her February birth, which I have to say made an impact on her.

It's the second of three albums from Brit-folk artists, Nick Drake. There's no argumnet to be had, it's one of the best albums of all time. Period. Buy it if you don't have it.

Nick Drake was such a tormented genius. I love all his work, but this album is a little sunnier in scope. It's the full band, which makes everything sound a little brighter.
