While there are examples of beginning, intermediate and advance programs, this book is probably best for those who have a experience with weight lifting. That being said, this book is loaded with great information. It's a bodybuilding book, but it takes a scientific approach. One of the biggest things to be learned from this book is the concept of periodization.
