When baking or cooking I like the melamine bowls because they are so lightweight and easy to lift. The problem is also that they are so lightweight, they can slid around the counter and sometimes even tip over. This product has the solution to that problem by having a non-skid bottom surface. It's also a bonus that the lids are available (eliminating the need for foil or saran wrap) and you have a small handle to hold on to when using. Can't go wrong with these smart bowls.
