The artist: "This is a very special girl. When I got her years ago she was in a box of doll parts. Her hair was singed, she had paint all over her face and she was missing the lower part of her body. Still, with all of these obstacles, she had a spirit about her that just wouldn't quit. I cleaned her up, put her in a cute frock thanks to my good friend Bethany, and gave her a set of wheels. People from all over the world have come to visit her at my studio and she's even gotten fan mail!! "
