Tisch 5 - Lighted Umbrella
A recommendation by John_and_Rose

It does not rain too often here in Los Angeles, but when it rains, it pours! This lighted umbrella is bordered with small lights that illuminate the water drops (and you) as you are walking in the rain. Designers Silja Kaeser and Jessica Müller-Wallraf of Tisch5 have created "A little bit of Poetry in the Daily Grey" with the Sweet November Umbrella and won the Nachlux Award (1st prize) for lighting in the European Innovation Competition for their creative design.
