This nail polish is a bit pricey ($18), but worth it, considering how toxic regular nail polish is. There are very few healthy alternatives for polish, so it's at least worth a try. The remover is $6 and needed, since this formula is nothing like regular polish - no formaldehyde or phthalates. It is water-based and non-toxic (which means less drying to the nail).
There are reviews on the website so an educated decision can be made.

The remover is also water-based - no acetone or other terrible ingredients. Chemicals found in traditional polishes/remover can cause irritation, headaches, dermatitis, skin rashes, asthma, and hormone disruption. In addition, wastewater plants cannot always remove phthalates, which means the chemicals end up in our waterways and build up in fish and shellfish. Great recommendation! People don't always think about how something as simple of nail polish can be so toxic.
