My passion for these products led me to writing the blog at www.mymontessorihouse.com/blog1/ ... Anyhow, I love these DVDs because they provide a wonderful introduction to reading and math for young children without excess fuss or tedious instruction. Lots of educational DVDs are textbooks jammed onto the screen, so these entertaining and simple DVDs are a welcome alternative.

Something for the under six set this holiday season! No kids of your own? Get kudos for being the friend who gives your kids friends something educational and helpful instead of, say, a super soaker or video game chock full of violence...
Super cute little animated letters teach children how to read words in the first several minutes of the show! Short stories about 5 minutes into the show let kiddies use these words to read a story... wish they'd had these when I was a youngster!

These DVDs rock! They're like educational baby crack -- kids love 'em and I can get some work done! Hey, guess what? The little one is starting to read already...She's just turned three.
Now if I could just find something to lure her big brother away from Nintendo...
