This gift box is packed full of items that will help you reduce your impact on global warming from within your home. It's a great gift for people new to the "green" movement and looking for a convenient way to educate themselves and make a difference. The instant gratification it provides is a plus, as is the donation rebate available on the website. I've sent this kit as a housewarming gift and plan to send it as an Earth Day gift to friends and family. (via Kathy's Climate Kits)

What a wonderful idea! I recently attended a "green" wedding where the couple did many things to reduce the environmental impact of the event. This made the PERFECT gift for them as they set up their first household together. It might just become my standard wedding gift!

The order process was easy and clear. Customer service was super friendly when I had a question about delivery. And shipping was quick and I got a confirmation. Great product, great company. Highly recommended! (via Kathy's Climate Kits)

I have a Kathy's Deluxe Climate Kit. It's fabulous! My favorite item is the tire gauge. By going to the Climate Kit Companion on her site you can find a video link on how to use the tire gauge. I have learned to use it and check my tires regularly.

I have a friend who wasn't taking action to help fight climate change. I gave him Kathy's Climate Kit and he screwed in the light bulbs, wrote his congress people, started using reusable bags--it was awesome! The best part was the he completely loved the gift and I didn't have to debate with him about climate change. (via Emerson)

This kit really makes it easy to do those things to save energy/water, etc. that you know you should be doing but don't always get around to. It comes with a cute deck of cards explaining all the kit items, how to use them & why they help the earth. The cards really make it fun.

The kit includes things like compact fluorescent lightbulbs, an energy-efficient LED nightlight, a compact reusable ChicoBag and larger grocery bag and lots more. My favorite -- a form to fill out to get off junk mail lists (with an already stamped, addressed envelope to mail it in -- and the $1 processing fee is included!)

I've given this kit to several family members and friends, who were excited and motivated by it to reduce their environmental impact.

Even if you don't want to buy kits, there's also a really useful website, kathysclimatekits.com where you can get lots of good environmental tips and information.

This is a worthwhile kit. I am recommending it to business friends who give gifts to their customers/clients during the holidays and on special occasions. It would make an excellent housewarming gift. I especially like how the 0.6L Swiss-made SIGG water bottle fits better in my car's cup holder than the bottle water I had been using. (via DoOneThing)

I've already done a number of the things in this kit, but what's coolest about it is giving it to my non-eco-minded friends. I was very surprised by some of the reactions (in a good way). It really can spur people to action - which is what we need at this piont. (via Emerson)
