Thompson Imports Inc. is a company which imports authentic foods for the Mediterranean diet from small producers and farms in Italy.
Products include single varietal extra virgin olive oils, barrel-aged Balsamics from Modena, Sicilian honeys unprocessed with fruits and nuts added, fruit preserves(fig, mandarin,grape,blood orange),unique whole wheat and barley grain pastas made in Puglia, etc......All selected on site by Noel Thompson, a 30 year veteran importer and marketer of specialty foods who sells to a select group of retailers in Manhattan.

This website is set up to sell these rare items directly to the public in the US. As of March '07 a limited selection of products also available at Whole Foods Markets -Northeast only.(Most producers are too small to participate in costly DOP or organic programs and yet products offer highest quality nutritional methods of production and ingredients.)
