Loving Yoshimi so much, sometimes I end up underplaying this album. However, nothing but pure respect goes out to this 99 release. Why? because it is what first got me into The Lips and has my favorite song of theirs, " A Spoonful Weighs a Ton." The Soft Bulletin is happy and fun and everything I want in a record.

When this album came out I thought it was decent at best. A couple years later it began to grow on me eventually becoming not only my fav Flaming Lips release but one of my favorite pieces of music in general. Great production (especially the drums) makes this one of the best Flaming Lips records ever.
