From Dutch designer Nynke Van Vliets, the NyCap is a cool new take on the classic baseball cap. While retaining the same essential shape, the NyCap is a.) made out of wool felt, b.) way more comfortable. The exposed stitching, besides looking cool, is necessary - it holds the felt pieces, which have been cut to exact shapes, together. After these shapes are sewn up, the result is the NyCap. And what a cap it is.

A hat formed out of separate pieces of wool fabric, so no additional heating or forming is needing after purchasing. Unlike some caps out there which can take days, months, and lots of effort to shape to fit comfortably, these fit well the day you get them. Beautiful. And no, they have nothing to do with New York.
