Yeah, yeah, I call this a brewer because it is much more than a coffee maker. Let's start with first things first even if they have nothing to do with coffee... it's called the "Santos" like Pele's old football club in Brasil. That's neither here nor there unless of course you are a soccer fan. This brewer makes coffee using the vacuum method which I won't go into except to say the resulting coffee is fantastic!!! If you get this machine be prepared for a floor show! I still stop and watch the water move up into the upper chamber, mix with the coffee then shoot back down into the carafe. This is truly a coffee maker... err I mean brewer fit for a king, queen or Pele! (via www.jamaicabluemountaincoffee.com)
