That's right, I'm about to recommend a fanny pack. But do let's call it a belt bag. It's more accurate. And it's less passe - even when considering the second wave of fanny pack hotness, veritabal hag-bag revival that it was, has come and gone.
The cute pouch on this belt bag comes off so it can be just a belt. And the rings on the belt allow the strappy part to hinge so if you cross it over your chest or wear it like a shoulder bag, the handle lies flat. I suppose its utility-chic style lured me in but the clever engineering is what pried my credit card out of my wallet (which was stored in the dark, scary pit of my enormipurse... another reason to downsize for summer).
