Description
WOW! These guys will knock you socks off! Hard to believe they were a bunch of white guys from NYC in the 60's!! I just recently became familiar with the Blues Project and this CD is a great way to get an overview of their music. I read that they are to the US in the 60's what John Mayall and his Bluesbreakers were to the UK. I would agree with that assessment. In fact, both bands do a cover of the great Mose Allison song, Parchman Farm. I think the one done by the Blues Project far surpasses the one done by John Mayall with Eric Clapton. Yes, they are that good!
