    there's another recommendation on here for goya's beans, but i think that the black bean soup (and the rest of the line of seasoned beans) deserve their own shout-out. look for the red label that says "black bean soup" or "(e.g.whatever kind of beans; pink, red) in sauce" these frijoles will delight you. trust me. just ask any nutritionist: beans are good for your health. but who has time to soak beans (or the talent to season them well)? goya does, and they sell these beauties by the can. the best thing about goya is that where other brands often fail, goya gets the seasoning just right; these beans are flavorful right out of the can, but also, the seasonings are perfectly balanced and not overpowering, which means that they'll work well in almost any recipe.
