This has been a godsend for nursing my daughter in public, or at other people's houses. It's stylish, which is nice, but the best part is the little plastic bit at the top that holds it away from you just enough to see your baby. My daughter was a finicky eater and was constantly needing re-attachment, so this was great. My other cover didn't have a peek-a-boo window, so I had to constantly lift it up in order to re-attach her, which just defeats the point of using a cover. This one is also adjustable in length and there are a variety of fabrics to choose from. To those who think using a blanket works just fine - it does, until your child becomes old enough to start grabbing things (about 4 months) - then you definitely need something that's hooked to you, unless you like giving free show!
