3 years of twice weekly mat work offered through by a certified instructor through the local community college for about $10/session has really shown me results in my stomach! I bet if I lost about 10 lbs overall, you can see the every single definition in my abs. Even with the weight you can make out the indentation of my abs, which is kind of amazing to me.
Mat, apparatus, magic ring, straps, etc... I hate cardio work, but have found pilates to be a joy.
Get yourself a good instructor that is certified to teach pilates (New York Style/West Coast, etc ok) and pay attention to your workouts. You'll see results.
