Gabor Jutasi was inspired by the Japanese dry gardens of Shunmyo Massuno when he designed this bench. His intention was to create a furniture piece that would represent calm (inside the home) within a world of chaos and noise (cars, traffic). He didn't really mention the sushi server as a part of his inspiration, yet it is called the sushi bench. Hmmm.
The chair can be special ordered from Jutasi directly. His copy is so cute, I have to share it...
