I was a little skeptical at first cause it looked to cutesy for my taste, but you gotta check out the preview video clips of the game play on Amazon. This looks like a futuristic Michel Gondry video! It's all about creating 3d shapes/structures as a group or competitively. And the main character's name is Sackboy. I just got a Playstation 3 and this is definitely one I'm gonna buy.

This game is looks so amazing, I have it on pre-order and I can't wait 'til it comes out! Lots of user-customization possible, and just look at the character design (that guy is *knit*!) Plus a great soundtrack including music by The Go Team (yes, more video games need the sound of a recorder solo in the background)!

This is an amazing game. Customization is king. Create custom outfits for your characters, stickers, videos, and create your own levels with custom built object. Not to mention the actual game itself is very fun and great for multiple people to play. It plays like a classic platformer (like Mario Brothers or Sonic) but with more puzzles and wit than most. Beware time will simply disappear when playing this game.

Two years later and this is still one of the best games on the market. I think the reason I am obsessed with this unique game has to contribute to the fact you can make your own content. No other game offers so much versatility and creativity. I wish there were more games like LBP!
