Pretty decent brew although not a true hef. Tried it at Staples Center on Draft for 9 (!) bucks. Pretty flavorful with good wheat character. Definitely not as artificial as some of the other Leinie's brews.

As a proud slinger of Microbrewed beer in Boston for a few years, I appreciate a lot of different beers, but will always have a soft spot for anything of the wheat, and fruity, persuasion.

Sunset Wheat is reminiscent of Fruit Loops, very drinkable, and available coast to coast. An excellent session beer, and delicious with any seafood or summer BBQ fare...try with an orange slice. YUM.

I guess you could call this a sipping beer. One of those beers that you hand to a friend to try, wait a minute and then get the "hey, this is pretty good" response. I like handing it to people to try.
