This bar is not as good as the Naga bar, but it is still extremely tasty. I am not even a huge fan of spicy food, but the heat slowly builds as you eat more and more of the bar. The mix off flavors is excellent. (via Vosges Haute Chocolate)

Originally, cocoa beans were crushed and used with vanilla, cornmeal and chillies in a frothed drink. As much as I love Vosges' "Mo's Bacon Bar" (and I really do), when I tasted the "Red Fire Bar" I think I experienced chocolate perfection.

The combination of the cinnamon, ancho & chipotle chillies, and dark chocolate was - as good chocolate should be - a sensory experience. The savory aroma of the cinnamon hit my nose first... mmmmmm. Then that, along with the smooth texture and just-sweet-enough chocolate flavor hit my palate. Sooooooooooooo delicious. Finally, as the chocolate melts, the heat of the chilies is released. The finish is a heat that is not overpowering. It's just enough spice to compliment the cinnamon and dark chocolate. What a combination!
