The portable hardrive makes having all the information I need more convenient. I take it with me everywhere. I go back and forth from computer all day and this way I don't have to lug around my laptop I can just store the information I'm working with onto the passport and take it with me. WD is also a very reliable brand. I've never had any problems with mine, and it's not pampered.
