This gadget is so fun, and a great holiday gift for anyone. It plugs into any car's (made after 1996) diagnostic reader (near the steering wheel) and calculates the miles per gallon your currently getting. Then, it turns increasing your MPG by doing things like accelerating slower and driving at a steady speed into a game, so it's both fun, economical, and eco-friendly. You can actually watch your mpg rating go up! Over time, it tracks how much gas and money you've saved during the game and your past records. Being green has never been more fun!

This nifty gadget turns saving gas into a game. The Prius has this a game like this built in, and I have to admit it was pretty addictive, trying to keep it over 50MPG.
