The heroic astromech droid of the Rebel Alliance has been honored in many forms, like the R2-D2 Trash Can, the R2-D2 Ice Bucket, the R2-D2 Video Projector and now the R2-D2 Aquarium ($130).

I never thought of an Artoo unit as an aquarium before, but this unique R2-D2 replica actually holds a 1 3/4-gallon aquarium tank in his central compartment. It includes everything you need, like a water filter and overhead LED tank lights that randomly morph between red, blue, and green or off. After you fill up Artoo's tank with water and add the fish, you can even take an intimate view of the aquatic activity below using a fun built-in periscope housed in the radar eye. His domed head rotates with any vocal command you issue, utters his famous bloop and bleep sounds from the movies and has a removable feeding door.

This a fun collectible for any Star Wars fan or lovers of sci-fi aquatic, but I will always think of R2-D2 as a feisty little robotic domed trash can from a galaxy far, far away. (via Michael Kiely)

The Star Wars R2-D2 Fish Tank Aquarium is a 1.8 gallon fish tank with a filter inside R2-D2. His head moves and makes sound effects when a motion detector is activated, and an LED light changes the tank from red to green to blue. It includes a telescope for a close-up view of the fish and a secret tray for feeding them.
