OK, so I'm being totally self-promoting, but I'm more proud of this book than anything I've ever done. I spent 7 months along with 2 assistants obsessively breaking apart fast food dishes. And the Cinnabon recipe alone was worth every minute of it.

Fast Food Fix offers healthier (but not necessarily healthy - it's still a burger, after all) substitutes for brand name burgers, milkshakes, fries and pizza.The goal is to "cut fat and calories...without affecting taste," which means the book is really meant for people who really like the TASTE of fast food and tend to eat it often because they choose to. For them, the book will help them to decrease the (non) nutritional impact of always eating fast food.
However, for people who turn to fast food for pure convenience, creating fast foods at home is way too much trouble. (via Cookbook-a-Day Giveaway)
