While I don't care for PowerBars, this gel is pretty good. If you are into endurance events, this is definitely worth a try.

This Gel gave me my much needed boost of energy during my long training runs, and my marathons I've ran. I would recommend a flavor that is consistent to the texture of the gel, like chocolate, caramel, or vanilla. The fruity kinds weren't for me. Warning though: This didn't sit well on some of my team members' stomachs, so give it a try before you use it on a major endurance event, or else you'll be in the toilet as long as your runs! (pun not intended)
