Like most of the world I recently rediscovered the world of poker. I too used to be like you, the average occasional card player who used to use those cheap crap paper cards. Then I came upon the Kem cards that keeps it's form and are washable. If you play cards at all you simply have not played till you try these.

I'm a big believer in buying quality stuff that lasts, which helps avoid clutter and time wasted replacing things that have worn out.
Kem cards are a great example of a superior, lasting product. They're easy to shuffle, nearly impossible to rip, and can even be washed in a dishwasher! (via Nate)

I remember the first time someone broke out a deck of Kems. My first thought was "oh no, plastic playing cards--gross"
Kem was the first manufacturer to get plastic cards right. The are sturdy, have a great air cushion, and are a joy to deal. Well worth the cost.
