This movie is the ultimate hood spoof movie. IF you want to take it a step further, all of the comedies that are coming out now, can be traced back to this title somewhat. But anyways, this is a Wayans brothers movie that is actually funny! They really do a good job of taking subtle jabs at the characters in the move. "Man you know I aint got no self esteem." While also taking jabs at the characters that the movie is spoofing "Mom why are you leaving.", "son you know there are no positive Black females in these movies."

DBAM is a hilarious parody of all of the "old" urban dramas like Boyz in the Hood and Menace 2 Society. Starring the Wayans clan, it's what started all of the Scary and Date Movie spoofs.
