I used to use the traditional Moleskine notebooks with the hard covers, but found them a bit bulky. The Cahier series is a great way to get the beautiful feel of a Moleskine, as well as the distinctive creamy paper, without the bulk.

I keep one with me pretty much everywhere I go, for taking notes, jotting down items to add to my wishlists, grabbing phone numbers, recording funny quotes - whatever I need to remember. They've become my second brain, and I surely couldn't live without them.
