All of the other rice cookers I've recommended have had a metal pan. I've always cooked rice in a metal pan, but I like the idea of cooking rice in a clay pot. After all, isn't that how it used to be cooked? Plus, it looks like it could almost be brought to the table and not look completely out of place.
