These are neat bags. The flat bottom encourages checkers to load them properly compared to round bottom bags.

I learned to use this type in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia where there are no plastic bags. Everyone carries their bags to the supermarket.

Here in Louisiana the checkers are still learning to use them. I look foward to the day that plastic bags are outlawed!
