This is a world of handmade products that are reasonably priced and unique, unique, unique. Let's face it, we all have to spend some on gifts. Why not support artists? Here's why: Ever see that Simpson's episode where Bart is getting his ear pierced in a shopping mall and every sign says "Starbucks" "Starbucks" "Starbucks"? Remember how Bart left the store where he got his ear pierced and it said, "Going out of business. Coming Soon...Starbucks". Browse through Etsy and you'll find a steal of a deal on a unique gift and be supporting artists by keeping alive the art of arts and crafts and all things handmade. Smart move, consumers of America. We do NOT want to turn into one big long strip mall of Starbucks, do we?
