Yes, I know the PlayStation 3 is coming out this week, but I think the PS2 is still the best option for most people. The hardcore, must-have-everything-new-now! gamers will of course go with the PS3, but I think the rest of us are better off waiting through a year of the new console wars before making the jump to the next generation.

And the PS2 still has a much larger collection of games than the Xbox, plus great new games like Guitar Hero 2 and Final Fantasy XII.

Not to mention the HUGE price difference between the PS2 and the newer consoles.
