An interesting update on the classic Coleman 2-mantle lantern design, this Northstar model is slightly more expensive, but much easier to use.
I've been using the regular 2-mantle lantern for over a decade so it took me some time to get used to the simplicity of this model (and the new tube-shaped mantle design) but after spending some time with it, I'm in love.
Easier to use and brighter than the 2-mantle design, this one is a great improvement over a classic design that manages to keep all the things you love about Coleman lanterns while being a significant improvement.
