I made use of this product, based on a suggestion from my grandfather, for a long distance move (LA to Las Vegas) with a friend this past summer. The shurtrax helped to evenly distribute the weight of our truck during the 100 + miles we had to travel. It makes a long distance move feel safer. Gas mileage took a major hit though because of the added heft.
