Raising three kids not to be dependent on television is more than a little challenging! We stay really active with our kids, but sometimes they just have to be able to occupy themselves, and lets face it...setting the 2-year old loose with a fistful of crayons usually ends in disaster.
Thank you, They Might Be Giants, for giving us something educational and fun that doesn't suck for adults to listen to! (Over and over and over and over and....)
Steve's been a fan of TMBG for a long time, and routinely hums "The Sun Is A Mass..." while milling about the house while he's supposed to be cleaning. Now he can share one of his favorite bands for over 10 years with his kids...and we don't feel like we're letting crappy cartoons babysit the kids!

Is it bad that I can sing along with the Noggin theme song? If I could discreetly blow the television up I would. Free To Be You and Me is getting a bit old (perhaps even as old as ME), and Baby Einstein music makes me feel oddly frantic (too many triple shot lattes perhaps?)
Will certainly give this a go...thank you!
