It's wrapped in copper, which is surprisingly easy to keep shiny and new-looking (a quick soak in lemon juice or vinegar). This type of quartz is said to have the properties to help one in eliminating destructive "crystallized patterns". It also produces a "solving atmosphere", and aids in adjusting imbalances throughout the physical, spiritual and emotional bodies. (via esty.com)
