Van Morrison: Astral Weeks
In sentimental terms,...more
When my generation thinks of Van Morrison, we usually think of "Brown Eyed Girl" and that's about it. But, the highlight of his career had to of come with the '68 release of Astral Weeks. It's one of the few albums that I can listen to, in its entirety, over and over again. In sentimental terms, it's the type of dreamy folk music that is sure to transform you to whatever happy place you want to be.
Folk music that would make my mother proud. I get my love of folky sounds from her and this album does not disappoint.
this albums' smooth harmonies and dreamy attitude are a wonderful way to chill out under a blanket and drink tea.
