Anime cant get any cuter than this. This anime is Called Chobits; its about a robot girl who doesnt know shes a robot yet she is trying to find her true self. I absolutly LOVE this series, there is nothing that is cuter than this anime. This series will have you "aww"ing the whole time.

I'm recommending this as an companion to the manga (graphic novel version). First, read the manga by CLAMP -- should be cheap used on Amazon, as it's been out for years. The manga story is far deeper and just as good as any regular sci-fi novel -- it makes you think about the nature of artificial intellegence and what it means to be alive, as well as raising some moral questions concerning technology. The anime, of course, loses some of that in favor of a more fan-service-y version of the story, but still sticks pretty true to the original, with absolutely beautiful animation, an excellent soundtrack and adorable character design -- and the voices aren't too shabby, either!
