If you don't know that there is a mass genocide going on, you seriously need to stop shopping and get a clue.

For those who feel utterly helpless (like me) yet too poor to make a grand gesture (like me). The folks at DARFURWALL.org have made it easy to give what you can.

The numbers 1 to 400,000 cover the 40 panels of The Darfur Wall. Each number represents a person killed in Darfur. A dollar lights a one number on the wall. I lit ten random numbers, and handed out those numbers to friends to encourage them to donate. I highly recommend giving what you can.

The money is divided four ways to these worthy charities:

* Save the Children
* Save Darfur
* Sudan Aid Fund / Eric Reeves
