The average person is said to use 167 plastic bags a year. This bag is designed by, top designer Anya Hindmarch and was made as a part of the 'We are what we do' non-profit British campaign group. It is meant to replace the many plastic bags we use every day. It can be used as a purse, to carry groceries, purchases at the mall, your lunch. Basically anything that you would have otherwised used a plastic bag for.
These bags will be selling for approximately $15 US but will not be available in the US until June. (via nitro:licious)

This bag is smug as hell - Why not just use a cloth bag (one that is 100% recyclable, at that) and not be an ass about it?

This is great. San Francisco has now banned plastic bags, and I'm sure more municipalities are going to start doing the same
