Plug headphones into the CD case and listen to dance music.
Artist Tristan Perich programs and packages electronics in a standard CD jewel case that generate minimal glitch/dance music when headphones are plugged in. The music is 1-bit, the simplest representation of digital sound. This 'album' will sit along other CDs in a record store, with 11 different tracks and a skip button.
pssst...there might be some Artist Edition One Bit Music device, hand-made, signed and numbered by Tristan Perich in a limited edition. Also includes signed poster-sized print of schematic, source code.
