Sushi cheff Ken, owner of Kiriko, introduced me to Satsuma Mandarin Oranges. I'm not sure which particular variety he gets (Owari, Silverhill, or Kimbrough) but they are amazing. I've not bought them online, but I am tempted and have provided one possible link. They are only available around the end of the calendar year, so grab them if you see them. Wait, I seem to remember the brand on the box was something like "Blue Jay"? I'll ask Ken and update this recommendation. (via Ken Y. Namba)
