So tacky... So Funny... So Kitsch... but I love them. Who doesn't remember as a kid watching cars with bobble heads and hula girls swinging to the sway of the pot holes in the road. Fun, laughable and cute and on my "Gotta Have it List." It's summer, I have a car; I like to make people smile... so why not? (via Cathy)

Back in my married days, I somehow got stuck driving the mini-van that I never wanted in the first place. In an effort to make myself feel better about it, I put one of these on the dash. I worked, her hula dance brought much joy to my travels in the dreaded mini-van.

in the midst of winter, we all might need a small reminder of summertime. what a perfect way to do so as we trudge to work on grey wintry days than with this cheerful hula girl accent. classic, amusing, and cute!
