Whether you worshiped Wonder Woman, harbored a secret wish to become Cat Woman or saw yourself as the woman-behind-the-man like Lois Lane, we had at least a handful of female Superheroes in modern lore and many more in ancient lore, including Nike and Athena to fuel our girlhood fantasies. So, now that women have the freedom to dress to please themselves, it makes sense that fashion designers would lead the charge towards bigger, bolder and more powerful sartorial statements. This upcoming Met exhibition gives its full attention to Amazonian creations, including designers such as Gareth Pugh, Thierry Mugler and Bernhard Willhelm. Will Victory Ford be there ?
